Why Did the RE3 Remake Disappoint Some Fans?

When Resident Evil 3 Remake launched in April 2020, reception was divided. Visually stunning, yes — but longtime fans quickly noticed key locations from the 1999 original had been removed. The Saint Michael Clock Tower, the Cemetery, Raccoon City Park and the Abandoned Factory were all gone. For many, the remake felt incomplete.
